Athletics

The Athletics ministry at Covenant Church of Mobile exists to encourage believers through participation in sports leagues and events, as well as introduce people to Jesus Christ. We are constantly searching for ways to make our ministry more effective as a place for our church family, for the community, and for the unchurched, who may be reached through contact with members of our church family. Check out the current sports events and teams to see where you can fit in!

Men’s Softball – We have two men’s softball teams that play on Monday nights in the Spring and Fall. Contact the church office for information on how to join a team and game schedules!

Wednesday Night Basketball – Every Wednesday night at 6 pm we gear up for a competitive game of basketball in the Covenant School gym. Contact the church office for more details!

Bowling - For the fourth year, Covenant Church of Mobile has a bowling team participating in a city league. This not only provides enjoyable recreation and fellowship for our members, but it is also an excellent outreach opportunity, interacting and competing with teams from across the city. The team, led by David Tillman and Micah Collins, also participates in fundraising for worthy and practical causes. This season’s team will be competing through early 2008, and though the roster is presently full, you can check with David or Micah (collinsmicah@yahoo.com) for information on how you can be a part of this activity in the future.
